Dear friends and family,
With a very heavy heart I have to share that in March of this year my dad, Matthew Tischler, was recently diagnosed with a rare cancer, Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). He began his first round of chemotherapy on April 16th and just finished his second round last week, yet the only potential way to cure MDS is with a bone marrow transplant.
We believe we have a match for the transplant which is such a blessing during this time, but he still needs help! Dad’s been out of work since March. He has been a chiropractor for the last 30 years, working everyday to assist people and their own chronic pains. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of his condition, he cannot work with the risk of contracting illness. Let’s pay back the help Matthew has given so many over the years of countless *back breaking*. Anything helps to pay for treatments and the transplant. This surgery alone ranges from $100,000 to $300,000. If you can’t donate at this time, send some prayers, write us some good or bad jokes, and donate some bone marrow (not to us, thank you though).
