OUR DAD'S ALTERNATIVE CANCER TREATMENT WISH ~

We don't want our Dad to be stressed or concerned about his finances and his wife because he used his retirement money to get the treatment he felt was right, when he should be concentrating on healing and kicking cancer's butt ! Our Dad has always been a healthy guy ... eats right, runs ( well now he walks briskly ), goes to the gym, doesnt smoke, etc. As a family we are continuing to help as much as we can. He had been bedridden and unable to have normal body function prior to getting his diagnosis.
This hit him hard emotionally, psychologically and spiritualy. In his words … " I am 79 years old and have been a vegetarian most all of my life. I believe in alternative medicine and not in Western surgical treatments. I've been self employed for over 50 years as a Designer and just recently got to retire. I would love to be able to live another however many years, so I can enjoy my life, family and friends. "
Why was he searching for non invasive treatment you ask yourself ? One terrible experience for our family was when our Mom had breast cancer and chose not to do chemo or radiation. After doing alternative modalities she had an alternative treatment in Ireland. They then came back to California. She had to constantly detox the killed cells and there was build-up of fluids that had to be removed. The excess fluids had to be removed at the hospital and while under the second procedure the doctor punctured her lung and a month later she died of a collapsed lung, not of breast cancer, while taking out the fluid at a hospital. This was a trauma for us all ! So therefore, Dad started searching for alternative ways to treat his prostate cancer, once it was detected by his local rural clinic. He did see a urologist who offered to do an invasive biopsy that could spread the cancer. He's researched a lot of alternatives and believe they can cure cancers and disease. Then, online, he came upon Hope 4 Cancer Center in his search. A center located in Cancun Mexico. When he saw what their program for cure was it gave him and us renewed hope. He was there for a 3 week intensive treatment using ozone therapy and photo dynamic therapy, immunotherapy and so many more alternative treatments. He feels he is in the right place for healing … but the cost to do this comes with a high price. Dad has since remarried, but it is so scary for a 79 year old who just retired, to know this unforeseen cancer is what he will be dealing with and will burden whatever savings/retirement left he has to live out his life. Medicare doesn't cover this or alternative treatments as we know. We know we have to ask the universe for what he needs, and as a modest man with a simpler lifestyle, we are sharing his story. Dad wants to see and feel joy and have hope for the future.
We love our dad and hope to raise funds to help him pay for and continue this treatment. He will need to return in 3 months and again later this year for evaluations and treatment.
