At the end of January 2024, our family was shook with the results of Dad's scheduled colonoscopy results. Dad (Joe Kennedy) has stage 3 colorectal cancer. See this LINK for what that is. Yeah, it freaking sucks. BUT... we are committed to beating it. After weeks of not knowing what lies ahead for Dad and our family, we now have a plan to kick its ass, and his doctors are confident that it is curable. He will be undergoing radiation and chemotherapy through the greater part of spring and summer 2024. If he makes enough progress, he will undergo surgery in the fall. It's not going to be easy for him, for us, for friends, for anyone, but we all will battle together. And we will beat this thing. Please join the fight in any form you see fit.

More specific to this gofundme effort, Cancer is not only the worst but it ain't free. So if the way you would like to help my Dad squash this thing is in the form of a donation, then please feel free to do that here. All donations will be put towards medical costs. Doctor appointments, CT scans, MRI's, surgery, and treatments will rack up bills in the tens to hundreds of thousands. Which ends up being above and beyond what medical insurance can cover.
