Dad may die soon from colon cancer

UPDATE: My dad died earlier around 11pm (5/15/19), while I was sleeping... he was... all alone, I was able to get to talk to him, the nurse was nice enough to hold the phone up to his ear so I could speak to him, my sister got to do that also, and his girlfriend in Jamaica also got to do that. All 3 of us are the only people who got to speak to him before he passed. I don’t know if he could hear or understand us, but I’d like to think that he could..... if only we could’ve known to speak to him earlier when he first got admitted :( but at least not we 3 don’t have any regrets.


I love you so, so much dad. I know we didn’t get along, but deep down, I knew you did truly loved us and that you would fight the world if it meant we could be cared for, I love you.

Please rest in peace, you deserve to finally get some rest....

We really need help, our dad was our main provider, but now, we don't know if we'll be okay, we just really need help and support now.

Story: Hello, I'm stacy and my family has fallen into a tragic and dire situation. My dad was diagnosed with colon cancer since last year. He was getting chemotherapy for it until just a couple months ago. He stopped because things got to the point where he just couldn't afford to keep going to the hospital anymore, each time he went, he had to pay upfront, I believe to cover the cost of treatments.
Sadly, because of that decision, his cancer slowly got progressively worse. Fast forward now, me and my sis learned this past sunday that he was in the hospital for 2 days.
Now, we have been told that he is weak and is in really bad shape, he might not survive. His body now has multiple organ failure, his lungs don't work, so they have him on a breathing machine, his mind is kind of gone, he can't follow commands and is confused, so hes in a state similar to being in a coma, his kidneys aren't working, so they will decide later today (5/14/19) whether to go through with putting him on dialysis, but his prognosis is weak, so they don't know just yet.
If they can put him on dialysis, he might have a chance to survive, but if not... he'll..

I'll be honest, me and my dad are not emotionally close or have much of a bond, but.. this isn't something I want him to experience, I really don't. It's not fair, me and Shelly we have our own problems too. My whole family is just falling apart before my eyes and I am utterly powerless to do anything to fix it all. My heart aches with how things have turned out and that is why I am turning to Gofundme for help.

What we need: Our dad was the main provider for paying rent to the apartment we live in, and me and my sister mostly focused on paying bills at home (light, water, groceries, medicine). But now, paying rent will become our sole responsibility from now on...we have always struggled to pay bills at home, and now we have rent to worry about, I really don't know how we will survive from now on.
Rent is $1300, plus $40 if we end up paying rent past the 5th of each month. Bills at home equal about $700, so you can see why I am turning to gofundme in this dire situation :(

Please, anyone, someone, please, if you can help donate, spread the word, support us in anyway, please do so. Me and my sis only have each other now, but we will turn to family for support instead of keeping to ourselves. Please help us if you can, we really are in serious need of support, esp for finances and rent the most :(

When: Rent is due on the first of each month, I have at least around $400 atm, but its just not enough to cover both rent AND bills that need paying around the first or even before :( please help if you can. The amount I put on this gofundme should be enough to cover rent and bills for at least one year (12 months).
