hello my name is Kimberly Lumford also known as Mrs.Hanifah Dia .On September 25th My husband was hit by a car and killed by a reckless driver who fled the scene leaving my husband in the street .while working(DoorDash) he was 44 yrs of age. Babacar came to America from Dakar,Senegal when he was 19yrs of age in search of a better life and legacy for his American and Senegalese family.

 Babacar recently received his U.S. citizenship which was the foundation of building his legacy.

Babacar had 4 daughters who he cherished and loved and took on any form of employment to provide  for them.

 Sadly at 10:25pm Saturday night  Babacar was riding his e-bike heading northbound on Linden Blvd of the East New York section in Brooklyn to complete a delivery  when a speeding royal blue crossover  vehicle slammed into him in the intersection at snediker Ave. My husband was rushed to Brookdale hospital where he died  due to the critical injuries he sustained. 

The driver is still on the run and hasn't been apprehended.

 I’m praying for anyone to come forward if you have any information that may help apprehend this person. Babacar was not just a door dash driver but was a husband, father,brother and best friend.

Babacar was not just someone seeking  only the American dream but was  an inspiration to his family and Muslim community.

Babacar wanted what all of us want and that's to provide for our family and make them proud.
