Dad has liver cancer. Need help surviving

My dad has worked for almost 50 years hosting a sports talk show on the radio and internet called Sportsline. Its a local show that was begun by my late grandfather. He's managed to keep our legacy alive every morning while going out of town to broadcast football games for highschools.
Late this year, he was diagnosed with liver cancer, 5 spots ranging from a few millimeters to several centimeters which led to cirrhosis of his liver. The doctors say they cant do surgery and decided to bypass his liver go help it heal with chemo treatments.
With the bypass, ammonia began building in his blood. His mind became weaker and weaker. The medicine doctors gave us works for small amounts of time but he cannot remember passwords or take care of the finances like normal.
My mother and I have been staying home and monitoring him, trying what we can to bring him back to his normal. We celebrate the small achievements: opening bottles, letting the dogs out, texting his friends. These things we don't think about are so hard for him now.
We're taking everyday one at a time but the bills have become crushing. We're not able to overcome the gap his loss if income has created. I know these times are hard for everyone and asking for money like thi is the last thing my parents want to do. We just need help to get through this month or we will lose our home of 40+ years and our cars.
With this fundraiser, we will have a little more time to find options and determine how we can find ways to stabilize ourselves. We take one day at a time and today, I must ask for your help. Please be safe yourselves and have a merry Christmas.
