Hi. My name is Stuart, and me and my sisters Kerri and Coral are fund raising to help my Mum cover our Dads medical costs and care after he had a stroke while on holiday in Poland.

They were due to fly home at 830pm on December the 4th, but their flight was cancelled causing them to stay an extra night. It was around midnight when our Dad had the stroke and an ambulance was called. Had the flight not been cancelled they would’ve already been back on UK soil.

He required surgery and our Mum is currently still out there with him with no accommodation or an idea of what is going to happen next.

They had travel insurance but according to the hospital it isn’t valid and currently we have no idea what this is going to cost or how long our Mum is going to have to stay out there.

My Mum and Dad are regular hard working people, they’re funny and kind and have never hurt anyone, Dad already beat cancer back in 2015 so I’m hoping that their kindness finds its way back to them in their time of need.
