Dad and Daughter Need a Safer Home

Hi friends! So if you saw my recent post, I am moving to Colorado April 13th to live with my dad! I’m very excited to get this time with him, as well as go back to school and thrive in a new environment. However, if you’ve been following my dad, Glen Pellett (Glen Jason) on Facebook then you’ll know that his, and soon to be my, upstairs neighbors aren’t the best people. AKA, they pulled a kn*fe on my dad when he confronted them about being so loud and screaming all the time (this was between the hours of 10pm-3am). Also, this was after various complaints to the landlord, and multiple calls to the police over a span of weeks while being forced to sleep in his car due to the noise. 

The neighbors have now been served an eviction notice, however they refuse to leave, “[we’ll] live here however long [we] want”. With that, the landlord has given my dad back the money he used as the deposit, however, that wasn’t much…and he now expects him to move out of there within the month.

And my side of the story… I have been applying to jobs nonstop, going to agencies, selling things online, and doing my absolute best to make as much money as I possibly can to send to my dad for rent, however… I cannot drive. This is because I have epilepsy. I have to follow the bus schedule, and where I currently live the bus doesn’t run on Sundays, and doesn’t run past 6pm.

*also some bus drivers just… DON’T stop???

Anyway, I got a job, but since I had to miss time, (which I said in the interview I had to follow the bus schedule) to take the bus, I was fired. So basically for being disabled. That was about 3 weeks ago, and I now have a job in Denver that I start on the 16th! Yay!! But I do need a place to live…

So I am asking you, my beautiful generous friends… if you possibly can please donate to this fund so we can move into somewhere and not be forced to be squatters to somewhere we don’t even want to live.
