Dear Family and Friends,

I am extremely heartbroken over the sudden lost of my sister Dacoya Scates. Her passing was completely unexpected leaving behind my mother Dané Scates, her father David Douglas, our brothers Christian Irizarry and Jeramiah Scates, myself Crystal Irizarry, and our sister Unique Scates. Dacoya loved all types of music and had dreams of becoming a big time DJ. She was loving, funny, caring, and extremely passionate on teaching everyone about the purpose of life. If you knew Dacoya, you’d know how much she touched the lives of everyone around her. My family and I want to celebrate Dacoya's life by giving her the memorial she deserves. We are raising money to assist with funeral cost in the amount of $6,500 by December 27, 2021. Please donate what you can to help my family, it would be greatly appreciated.
