This year I’m running the Great North Run for a charity very close to my heart. In October 2023 our precious Blu was diagnosed with IVDD. Symptoms came on rapidly and he required immediate surgical intervention. Dedicated to Dachshunds with IVDD were a lifeline at a terrifying time , and provided practical and emotional support throughout our journey to recovery.

The charity loaned us a pen so Blu could stay safe from harm as he healed from surgery, and the stroller ensured he could enjoy walks with his sister. The emotional support was invaluable, and very much appreciated. My boy is a true IVDD warrior and is almost back to his old self
