Help Us Save Our Beloved Dachshund
I am reaching out on behalf of my friends with heavy hearts and immense gratitude for the love and care their 2-year-old dachshund, Ketch, has received. On Wednesday, 18th December, this sweet pup lost all use of her back legs and was rushed to the vet. She was then transferred to a specialist veterinary hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery on four discs in her back. The procedure was a success, and we are overjoyed that Ketch is starting her long journey toward recovery.
However, the costs associated with this life-saving intervention have exceeded what their insurance company will cover, leaving them facing an unexpected financial burden of £3,500. The family is exploring options to secure a loan and other ways to raise the necessary funds.
Ketch is not just a pet—she is a cherished family member who brings joy, laughter, and unconditional love into their lives. The thought of losing her was unbearable, and they did everything possible to ensure she received the treatment she so desperately needed.
Now, we are humbly asking for your help. Donating even as little as £1 would mean the world to them and go a long way toward covering the unexpected veterinary bills. Every single contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
What Your Donations Will Cover:
- The cost of the emergency surgery
- Post-operative care and medication
- Follow-up appointments to ensure a full recovery
Paying It Forward
We understand the heartache and stress of facing such a situation. That’s why, if we are fortunate enough to raise more than the required amount, all surplus funds will be donated to help other pet owners in similar emergencies.
We are incredibly grateful for any support you can provide, through donation or sharing this page with your friends and family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us give Ketch a second chance at life.
