Hey everyone! My name is Blythe and on Christmas Day I hurt my back and am now unable to walk. I am currently confined to my crate - however I will need an MRI and potentially surgery to fix the issue if my conditions worsen.

Dachsunds are prone to back problems and ivdd - intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) is a common condition in dogs that occurs when the cushioning discs between the vertebrae in the spinal column burst or bulge into the spinal cord.

I’ve been very very brave and my recovery is going alright. However I am having a hard time walking and keeping my balance and the crate I am in is tiiiiiny. And I’m a dachshund.

My dad is currently spread pretty thin could use some help covering the costs of my emergency vet visit, medical costs, as well as the cost of thee upcoming MRI annd surgery.
