Road to Recovery

Twelve years ago, my niece, Danielle (Dani), was diagnosed with a very rare liver ailment called Wilson's Disease. With a diagnosis like Wilson’s, life becomes even more precious and nothing is taken for granted. She is now 27 and has 2 beautiful daughters, Skylar and Alexandra. Things have taken a turn and currently she is in for the fight of her life. She is in the ICU in liver failure, with an estimated survival rate of 1 week. Fortunately she has been placed at the top of the liver transplant list, for the Nation, and we are praying that they find a suitable liver for her in time.  We believe it is in God's hands now, so we are preparing for her recovery after the transplant. Her aftercare will be all consuming. After the transplant, she will need to be on 14 different medications to handle any rejection and/or infection and travel to UCSF twice a week for the next 6 months. Any any donation towards out of pockets expenses would be greatly appreciated. We will also welcome prayers, lots and lots of prayers!!! Thank you all so much for thinking of us and praying for our family and our girl Dani
