We are the Senior Showcase Team for the upcoming Senior Showcase of Da Vinci Design High school, located at El Segundo, CA. Our team consists of Crystal Aguilera, Bryn Aitken, Vivian Huynh, Sophia Maglabe, and Natalie Zamudio. We are in need of financial support to organize the event and we would like to ask if you would be able to help us host a successful Senior Showcase.
Da Vinci Design is a project-based school that aims to help students gain twenty-first century skills and connect with the real-world. Before seniors graduate, they must complete a Senior Project that is meant to combine everything that they have learned in their four years at the school and apply them to solve social issues in the greater community: some examples of these ideas include educating people on bully breeds and helping the homeless population, among many more. Senior Showcase is an opportunity for Seniors to connect with industry partners and share their projects and passions to make a difference in society.
With that said, we would like to organize this event to foster a sense of community between the Da Vinci Design students and their outreach partners. We expect to have between 350 and 500 people attending, including the students. Doing so is a big responsibility and we would appreciate all the help that we can receive, including financial support.
Any donation towards supporting our project--big or small--will help us cover the costs and ensure that we host a successful Senior Showcase.
If you are unable to donate money, but would like to support us through food, decorations, equipment, or venue space donations, please contact us.
