Stiamo raccogliendo fondi per Shahed (nota come Hazar), una giovane studentessa del campo profughi di Al-Shati, appena ammessa all’Università di Cagliari.

La sua casa è stata bombardata e distrutta, e Shahed ha perso amici e persone care. Da allora vive in condizioni estremamente precarie: prima in tende, ora in alloggi di fortuna non protetti dal freddo e dalle piogge. Alcuni membri della sua famiglia, gravemente malati, non hanno accesso alle cure mediche.

Questa opportunità universitaria è per lei un’occasione concreta di sicurezza e dignità, la possibilità di costruire un futuro lontano dalla guerra.

Per ottenere il visto per studio deve dimostrare di avere almeno 7.000 euro: è l’ultimo ostacolo che la separa dall’Italia.

From Gaza to the University of Cagliari: Help Shahed Start Again

We are raising funds for Shahed (Hazar), a young student from the Al-Shati refugee camp, who has just been accepted to the University of Cagliari in Italy.

Her home was bombed and destroyed, and Shahed has lost friends and people dear to her. Since then, she has been forced to live in extremely harsh conditions: first in tents, and now in makeshift shelters that offer little protection from the cold and the recent heavy rains. Some of her relatives, who are seriously ill, cannot access the medical care they desperately need.

This university opportunity offers Shahed a real chance of safety and dignity — the possibility to rebuild her future far from war.

To obtain her student visa, she must prove she has at least €7,000 available: this is the last obstacle preventing her from reaching Italy.
