Hi, my name is Nick. I’m 23. I take care of my Dad who is 70 and not in great health. He’s had a heart attack and is diabetic along with other health issues. I am the only one who helps him with everything from grocery shopping, picking up his meds, paying for his utility bills, taking him to his doctor appointments and cleaning his place etc,.

Most of my energy these days is supporting my Dad. Any extra $ I had helps with his diabetes meds which is so expensive every two weeks.

I was working but was laid off due to COVID a few months ago, I was working here and there but have gotten way behind in my rent, I’ll need to move out in December. The money I’m trying to raise is to cover my back rent and to pay for a UHaul to move my stuff out. I really don’t want an eviction notice on my record for 7 Yrs. And at only 23 years old! I’ve tried my best to do the right thing but I’m really having a hard time.

I will likely have to move in to my dads house and start over.
