Koda

Koda got out the morning of August 30th we had a bad storm and she went into flight mode faster then normal  hours upon hours of searching we did come 10 feet from her and she ran away so fast . Shes a princess at my home she sleeps on the bed allowed on couches, she goes swimming daily , treats ,  fed the best dog food i found so many toys , and my two boys didn't understand why she didn't love us anymore then . A amazing organization called Hartt helped put up flyers, track, and set traps out  , feeding stations water station cameras etc and made us feel hopeful  . Over 50  call ins of people spotting her 100s of shares on fb  and the support ive gotten during this tuff time has been unreal.  We were going through alot already with a few family memebers dealing with cancer we lost  both today., September 9th   So having this added on has been the most difficult 3 weeks of our lives  .September 8th miss koda somehow got herself on the 101 and 59th ave she made it to 75th ave and somewhere around there she was hit by a truck . My husband quickly got on scene and rushed her to the hospital.  Miraculously she had no broken bones, but her lungs are both ruptured.  And cuts along her legs and feet that needed stitches . Shes not out of the woods yet shes spending another night in the hospital and by morning we should know if she will need surgery.  Witch if surgry is needed its roughly $6000. Enough people have asked me to start this to raise money for her medical bills and the days to follow plus vet checks whatever might be ahead  . Im blown away from the generosity of my family and neighbors people I dont know begging me to help . Usually we would do it on our own but know when to surrender and just let kind hearted people help . Love you guys ❤  shes so much more then a dog to us . Anything left over from her medical side will be donated to the  Hartt organization and if for some reason she will need the surgery ill move the goal amount up
