Hi beautiful friends and community! I’m Evy, one of Hannah’s close friends. If you know Hannah, I’m sure you love her. She is one of the most genuinely wonderful people on the planet. I am creating this GoFundMe for her after listening to her share her struggles with her health with me and feeling that they are beyond what their family is capable of handling on their own right now. Hannah has been living with some severe health complications for a long time, and she’s dealt with them with so much grace. She’s been living in significant pain for many years, which is something I don’t think anyone would guess after interacting with her! She holds everything together with kindness and care for others every day. As her community, now is the time to collectively support and give back to her in a tangible way while she navigates a major surgery and time off work to recover. Here are some details from Hannah outlining her current diagnosis, cost analysis, and path to healing:

“After dealing with the pain of endometriosis and PCOS for years, I found myself fighting extra hard for my health these last few weeks, which brought me to finding out I have stage 4 adenomyosis in addition to Asherman's Syndrome (a complication of a previous surgery). At this time, the only solution is a full hysterectomy, which will be done on August 20 as my condition is worsening quickly. While I have decent insurance, there is still some out-of-pocket cost (roughly $1,000) in addition to some needs for recovery (pillow supports, heating pads, etc.). I will also be out of work for 6 weeks, which we weren’t planning for, so there is an additional financial need to cover what my income typically covers (utilities, insurance, basic expenses, girl’s needs, rent costs, etc.). Any amount of help is appreciated so that our energy can be focused on my healing and recovery.”
