Hi all, I would like to tell you some background about myself before I get into the explanation for gofundme. My name is Delia Harper and I am from Onion Lake Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. I have 4 children and 3 grandsons. My two oldest children are adults and two youngest are early teens. I work as a curriculum developer at the Cree immersion school. I have been an educational student all my life as well. I am a PhD candidate and I was currently working on the first three chapters of my dissertation proposal. On April 24, 2020 my house burned to the ground. Thankfully my family safely got out in time unfortunately we lost everything in the fire. All my resources, laptop, printer and storage devices I used to work on my dissertation proposal were lost. Loans, donations and relief funds from my community took care of my family’s essential needs. Gofundme is for restoration of my PhD resources. These resources include books, printer, USB storage devices, voice recorder and the cost of printing downloaded material from the university library.  I spent 4 years gathering resource materials to complete my dissertation and now everything is gone in the fire.  Your donations will assist me in gathering the much needed resources I need to complete my doctorate.  Your donations are appreciated and I thank you.
