Eight months ago, I had a hip replacement. I went in hoping it would finally be the turning point after 8 years of managing serious pain. Instead, my health has declined significantly — and I haven't been able to work since.
For those of you who worked with me over the last several years, you've witnessed this first hand— the heating pad, the back support, the specific chairs I needed in the office, the countless doctors appointments and multiple surgeries over the years. I was doing everything I could to plug away and maintain a sense of normalcy. The hip replacement was supposed to change that. It hasn't.
I'm now without income or savings, and my credit is tapped. I'm actively fighting for disability benefits, but those processes take time, which I don't have.
In the meantime, I need help covering my health insurance premiums, transportation costs, and any miscellaneous necessities. I'm asking for $5,000 to get through these circumstances, in hopes that I won't need anymore in the future. Every dollar goes directly towards keeping me stable. I'm grateful for anything you're able to give.
Thank you.
