Max Davey Edwards was born premature on Thanksgiving day 2015 to my best friend David and his lovely wife Martha and has been in the NICU from that time on. As he has been able to overcome multiple hurtles associated with being premature and has begun to put on weight the joys of childbirth have been short lived. This week it was determined that Max has a Bicuspid Aortic Valve which means his heart has a difficult time pumping blood through his aorta. Unfortunately, it seems this will need to be surgically corrected and as you can imagine this has been very difficult for the new parents to be faced with their new born having heart surgery.

Being that we all love Dave, Martha and little Max they are currently facing many unforeseen expenses and I’m sure could use a helping hand during these hard times. Martha is no longer able to stay in the hospital with Max and has been forced to stay in hotels for the next undetermined amount of time in order to still be able to feed him naturally.

With no relatives anywhere close let’s show them the meaning of friendship and the season of giving. Any amount will help the Edwards as they are faced with these trying times.
