Trevor Needs Help
Trevor Mitchell Carpenter, at age 19, was involved in a terrible auto accident in rural Illinois in which Trevor suffered a traumatic brain injury resulting in the loss of the use of his arms and legs, and the need for a feeding tube. Trevor is aware of his surroundings but unable to speak. This was 2016, and it was uncertain whether or not Trevor would survive. But survive he did thanks to expert medical care and the tireless dedication of his mom Sara, his sister Maddie, and his grandma Mary. Trevor’s Mom, Sara, a nurse, has been unable to work so that she could be home to care for Trevor, making it difficult to make ends meet. His grandma, Mary Shultz, has tirelessly flown back and forth from Denver to Illinois for weeks at a time to help care for Trevor. Trevor has worked so hard to get to where he is today, but he has much hard work ahead of him. At this point, Trevor and his mom need funds for relocation to Colorado, where Trevor will be closer to more services, more family, and more care. Relocation will mean finding a home and making it accessible for Trevor’s needs and care, and that will require more money. Please donate to help this now 23-year-old wonderful young man continue to make progress!
