Few people I know are as loved, have as many friends as Don & Sheila. If you are one of them we need your help in joining them, in Don’s fight against cancer. Don was diagnosed with throat cancer this past December (2020) and has started his journey in beating it.
Don has started his treatment in Victoria, which involves week-long visits to the cancer clinic for months to come. With that comes months of having to stay in Victoria, travelling back and forth from Nanaimo. While the treatment itself is covered by our medical plans (thank god we live in Canada) fuel, lodging, meals, keeping up a home in Nanaimo (along with two new kittens Keno & Charlie) while not being able to work is where WE NEED YOUR HELP.
