On May 7, 2025, Wyatt has been diagnosed with stage 3 embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. This is a rare soft tissue cancer. Wyatt just turned 2 in August and is being an incredible warrior! He will be continuing his chemotherapy through March so we have a very long road ahead.

At the end of August, Wyatt underwent a major abdominal surgery to remove the tumor which was very successful. As successful as the surgery was, his cancer is equally stubborn. This type of cancer almost always requires radiation and in just a couple of weeks, he will be undergoing 6 weeks of radiation therapy. These radiation appointments have to be every day Mon-Friday and he will have to be sedated every day in order to hold still. I am very worried about how he is going to handle this. Because of this, I will be off work for quite a bit while his dad and I focus on making sure he is supported through his therapy. We appreciate all the prayers and support. ❤️
