Hello everyone!! We have decided to do start this fundraiser to help us towards our goal of getting Adam his active tracker chair. Adam is a warrior! He was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy when he was 6 years old. Duchenne is a rapid muscle wasting disease that eventually claims the life of any child it affects. Adam experiences abnormal walking due to his muscles forcing him to walk on his tip toe.  He has frequent falls, difficulty standing and muscle loss and weakness. Adam extremely loves the outdoors. His favorite thing to do is hiking and fishing, catching frogs and snakes. If you see Adam outside he has a net in one hand and his bug catcher in the other! To keep Adam as active as possible it is time in his journey he will need some extra help. This active tracker that we have chosen will keep Adam in the woods, fishing and hiking with the family! It will help Adam feel more independent like a 9 year old boy should be! Any donation will be a HUGE help towards our goal which is the amount the active tracker will cost.
