Support Jason and his family.

Dear Friends and WPS family,

We are reaching out to you today to ask for your help and support for our dear friend, Jason Janz, who is currently battling a rare form of kidney cancer that has spread to other organs. As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult and trying time for Jason and his family.

Jason has always been a kind, generous, and selfless person, always putting others before himself. Jason has been a member of the WPS for 17 years and has continuously worked hard to make this city a better place. In the 17 years with the WPS, Jason has been in several investigative units, and has taken part in the organization of the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Polar Plunge which goes to raising money for the Special Olympics.

Although fortunate we live in a country where we don't necessarily need to worry about medical bills, there are many unforeseen expenses associated with cancer treatment which can be overwhelming (such as travel, parking, hotels and many other expenses I am surely forgetting or missing.

That is why we have created this GoFundMe campaign. Our goal is to raise funds to help cover the cost of these unforeseen expenses, which can add up quickly. Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards helping Jason, Audrey and their children during this difficult time, allowing them to focus on their family.

We know that Jason is a fighter and will do everything in his power to beat this disease. Let's give Jason and his family as much support as we can in this stressful time.
