We need to pay for a trekking wheelchair and incidentals for our family's trip to Scotland.
A year ago, my daughter Julia was granted a Wish . For choosing her wish, we showed Julia several wish options, but she kept shaking her head "no". After going through many options, with Julia consistantly shaking her head "no" , we finally got to the the picture of a man in a wheelchair made for trekking "scaling" the Grand Canyon. When asked (incredulously), if she wanted to climb mountains... Julia answered with a hearty head bob, "YES".
Fast forward 12 months and several detours and speed bumps later. We have come down to the home stretch. We are sprinting toward the finish line with just these final things to pay for. We've managed all the other extraneous expenditures associated with taking 6 women (4 under the age of 13), one multiply handicapped, on the trip of a lifetime, but now we are requesting your help. Please consider donating, just a small amount, to help bring my children closer to their heritage and help Julia make her wish of climbing mountains, her reality.

The three younger girls working on strength and endurance with our wonderful friend and fitness guru, Leah.

Our Peak Challenge Crew. Julia's sisters, Mom, and Miss Leah. This is the full crew going to Scotland.
