Kailyn’s road to recovery

On Saturday around 3:40 in the morning, Kailyn Dever's life was forever changed by a devastating car accident. Alongside her was her best friend Maddie, they faced a tragic collision that left Kailyn with severe injuries, including a broken back.

Kailyn underwent extensive surgery, requiring the insertion of 5 screws and a rod from T-12 through L-1 to stabilize her spine. While the surgery was successful, her journey to recovery is just beginning.

Currently, Kailyn remains hospitalized, facing a long and challenging road ahead. She will require ongoing physical therapy, rehabilitation, and medical care to regain mobility and strength.
