CARLOS’ CANCER CARE

UPDATE- While getting testing to be dually listed for a heart transplant, doctors discovered that Carlos had a cancerous tumor in his colon. He was operated on 3/4/24 & doctors discovered that the cancer had metastasized to his liver. After starting chemo they discovered that the cancer had continued spreading and went to his bones and abdomen & lymph nodes. Doctors decided to start a stronger form of chemo because the cancer is so aggressive. all of these things have taken a financial toll on our family. Please help me share carlos' story so that we can raise the necessary funding to continue paying for his treatments and medications. God Bless

Hi,my name is ingrid and I’m raising funds for my husband Carlos. He has been battling health issues for the last 5 years after having a heart attack caused by Acromegaly, a tumor in his pituatary gland he didn’t know he had. Doctors have tried everything including brain surgery to remove the tumor & an LVad machine to help his heart. They’ve come to the conclusion that a heart transplant is inevitable to save his life. My work health insurance will cover 80% of the cost but leaves us responsible for 20% plus PRE and POST operative care along with the cost of immunosuppression medications so his body does not reject the organ.
