It's with a heavy heart I'm writing this today. Our Mom, my children's Nanny, my Dad's everything.. Passed away. I'll go ahead and give the details here as I'm sure some will want to know. She unexpectedly and unexplainably fell ill. It started out as what appeared to be a stomach bug and spiraled so fast. While trying to recover from this unexplainable stomach issue, she became weak and fell and broke her hip. She immediately had surgery and was on her journey to recovery. But she never got that chance. Although she was moving in a positive direction, she suddenly and completely unexpectedly went into cardiac arrest and passed. We never imagined we'd lose her. It happened so fast. And there were so many unanswered questions that we're still trying to come to terms with and accept. She was so loved and such a beautiful soul. The hurt is hard to even try to put into words. And unfortunately she didn't have a life insurance policy in place. So this financial burden will fall on my brother and I. As we feel our father, who is 79 and trying to come to terms with this all, shouldn't have to bare this alone. So although it's out of character to ask for help, in this situation we have no choice as this has happened so suddenly, but to ask for any help possible financially to respectfully put our mother to rest. And of course any prayers or positivity sent our way is also so appreciated, as this is going to be such a difficult time for our father and all of us who knew and loved her to navigate through. As she always said to us, we love you more then chocolate mom.
