My name is Shaylyn and I am 24 years old. As some of you know I have heart problems, resulting in sudden cardiac death a few years ago and know I have a defibrillator as well as a pacemaker. The doctors are unsure of the diagnoses of the problem however we do know my heart continues to become less and less healthy. Each time my heart stops I damage my brain and clearly brain transplants are out of the question. The procedure is $787,700 and that's not including taxes etc. I have dreams of becoming a teacher and opening a place for the less fortunate children. I want to know that I will be here long enough to accomplish my goals. At the rate I'm going now, I'm unable to work amongst many other things. This is a very important process to me and I don't have the financial means to do this alone.
If you can please help me raise the money to get a new heart and to be able to start living healthy and happily, I would be forever indebted to any of you.
