I’m not a person that enjoys asking for help.

In fact, I always do everything in my power to avoid having to ask anyone for anything. But I don’t know what else to do.

So please hear me out while I share my story.

I know people love me for my big smile and crazy laugh, but 2022 has been very tough for my family. I recently lost my cat, a childhood friend I had for 17 years, which has been very hard to process.

My mother is getting older and dealing with health issues. The financial toll of some recent changes has put us behind on rent, leaving us to wonder if we’ll be able to keep our home.

So lately, it’s been hard for me to find a reason to smile.
