On Monday night, we were notified that my brother was in the hospital in a coma on a ventilator. So many sent prayers and it was a beautiful thing to see the body of Christ stand in the gap for Jonathan.
On Tuesday evening at 11:35 PM Jonathan went home to be with the Lord. Unfortunately my brother didn't have a burial policy. Our mother couldn't stand the idea of cremation as opposed to burial. Unfortunately, funeral costs are far beyond what we can afford. As it stands, we are unable to come up with the $2500 needed for death certificate, cremation and permits. I grieve that his final disposition isn't what my mom wants, but in our situation we have to do the best we can. If you are able and willing to help us raise this amount to handle the cremation etc. it would be a huge blessing to us. Any excess amount raised will go to help my mother as she has been off work out of state with Jonathan and remains there through this process and with expenses. The rest will go to Jonathan's small children.
The plan at this time is to have a memorial service in Enterprise where we grew up once matters and the disposition of his body handled. A date will be forthcoming for those interested.
Thank you in advance for any and all blessings.
