I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support during one of the hardest moments of my life. The unexpected loss of my mom has left our family grieving, and as the oldest kin, the responsibility for her cremation and urn costs falls on me. I’m also a mom to two little boys, and between the arrangements and the loss of work during this time, I’m not in a place financially to manage everything on my own. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean more than I can put into words, and I am so deeply grateful for the kindness and love surrounding us. I loved my mom fiercely through every phase of her life—she was beautiful, she shined in every room she walked into, and she loved hard.
