Help Me Evacuate My Family From Gaza

Donation protected
Hello everyone,
Please take a few moments to read our story and help me save my family from their current devastating reality.
I am reaching out to all of you as my last resort in hopes of help and support to evacuate my family from Gaza.

As most of you might know already a war began in Gaza on October the 7th. Since then, living in Gaza has become increasingly difficult and impossible. Since then, my family and many others have experienced nothing but trauma, pain and loss.

Shortly after the war started, we lost the lives of very dear family members. My uncle’s family: his loving wife, his only daughter and three of his grandchildren ages 11, 6 and 4. They died due to a bomb attack towards their house leaving behind a 12-year-old boy heartbroken and alone. After my uncle buried his beloved family, he passed away from a booming in a nearby mosque that he stayed the night in. Unfortunately, the nightmare doesn’t end there.

My sister opened her kind heart and humble home to many of the people who lost their homes and were forced to relocate as they had nowhere else to go. There were over 25 individuals living in her small apartment. Although she did not have much, she gave what she could to those who she saw as more in need in those desperate times.

She lived in a building that consisted of her in-laws and family each living on a separate floor. A few days after receiving the devastating news of the loss of her uncle whom she loved dearly and the loss of cousin who she considered to be her best friend and sister, the building she lived in got bombed causing her entire family-in-law (55 person) to die. As she and her family were having dinner in the living room the bomb hit, she looked around and realized her 4-year-old son was missing. Being the caring mother, her nine children were more important than anything. she frantically started searching for him yelling out his name. She ran downstairs and found him terrified and hiding under a table, unfortunately he has injuries to his back caused by debris from the attack. They then rushed him to the nearest hospital but to their surprise they refused to treat him as the hospital was packed with patients with more critical injuries. They were also heavily understaffed. Panicked and overwhelmed, they had to risk their lives and head out to a further hospital to finally get treated. Once they got there and my sister made sure her little boy was okay, she felt a sudden sharp pain in the back of her head. She had no idea what it could be as soon as she put her hand on and looked it was blood. She was bleeding the entire time and had absolutely no idea. Her fear for her children’s safety overpowered her care for her own self. She passed out for a few hours once realized she was insured and woke up asking about her son again.

There was a total of two bomb attacks on her house which only meant that it is no longer safe nor possible to sleep in it let alone stay in it. It was no longer her home. It was simply ash and rubble. She was forced to live in a tent on the street by a hospital, which was also later bombed giving no other option but to her to relocate again!

Each day living in Gaza under these circumstances is becoming increasingly dangerous and beyond difficult. She can barely contact us and when she does it is only a few words of her confirming she is still alive and well. Access to food and water is scarce. Her youngest kid recently got sick because of the unclean water and food.

So, I ask of you all to please try and help me give them the opportunity to exit that horrifying reality. Help me give them the opportunity to breathe again as they have suffocated for way too long. She and her children have remained patient and resilient throughout all this unimaginable trauma they are facing. They still hold the strength to have hope that their tragedy will end. They truly deserve a better life and a chance to heal.

The only way for them to get out is thru Egypt. Egypt authorities give permits to those who want to get out. That requires visa and paperwork fees which we cannot afford.

Your Donations will cover:
- passport fees
- visa paperwork
- document transfers
- border crossing fees
- temporary accommodations and flights out of Egypt should we be able to secure them safe passage
- GoFundMe fees

I humbly ask for your compassion, solidarity, and assistance in helping us during this time. Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and networks to amplify our reach and help us reach our goal swiftly.

Thank you,
