Relief - Scott Bluhm's Family

The co-workers of Scott Bluhm in Southfield have gotten together to create a GFM page in order to provide some relief for Scott and his family on their recent flood-devastation to their home.

Their basement was “finished” with a family room and office, in addition to the normal storage and laundry areas. So far, they believe (fingers crossed) they have saved the furnace, water heater and washing machine. The dryer is not working properly, but they have not replaced it yet. They had to throw out all the carpet, family room furniture and furnishings and all their computer/electronic equipment in the office. Scott has also had to remove most of the drywall to aid in ventilation and circulation. He said that ServPro was coming today to sanitize everything at a cost of $2500.

They LOST everything downstairs which included their home offices, computers, furniture...etc... and they have had to gut it and are starting over... it will be ever so slow to rebuild that floor.  They did NOT have flood insurance.

Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated!  Feel free to share this on social media pages to boost the signal.
