My road to Fargo

The road has been long and this request is last minute, but I have been given the opportunity to attend Fargo with a Medical Waiver! We thought my final chance at Fargo was missed, but my recovery has progressed well and I have received clearance from my Surgeon.

I have wrestled for 3 years, and each year has posed an obstacle. Year 1 I qualified, by placing top 3 in the State for Folkstyle, but could not attend due to multiple hand surgeries. Year 2, I had standing commitments with another Varsity sport and could not attend. Now at Year 3, I suffered a significant injury, at Folkstyle States in my Consi-Semis match, requiring another surgery. We thought my chances were gone for my final High-School season. However, I was able to make a Freestyle Qualifier prior to surgery, placing 1st and have now received medical clearance.

This will be a great experience for me before heading off to Penn State Altoona at the end of Summer.
