Please consider helping Laura on her road to recovery after neurosurgery.
Last year Laura experienced the trauma of losing both her parents and fiancé all in a small time period.
Shortly after that we noticed Laura began to have memory loss and loss of coordination along with the loss of speech.
We were fearful something was seriously wrong. After watching her mother “nana” pass from brain cancer, we decided it was best to follow up on these new and sudden symptoms.
We then learned she had a plum sized tumor on her temporal lobe.
Worse case scenario came to our mind after having to watch sweet nana battle the brain cancer.
Laura remained strong despite the news. Her strength is astonishing while facing such a difficult road ahead of her.
We all trusted that God had a plan and this would not be cancer.
On Monday January 23rd Laura had brain surgery to remove the brain tumor.
Praise God it was not cancer!
A benign tumor is the best possible outcome we could ask for…..
But she has a LONG road ahead of her.
She currently has 45 staples in her head and out of work with no income due to not having medical leave.
Recovery can be up to 8-10 weeks and there will be lots of medication costs, follow up appointments, and more than likely, scans to follow.
She is trying to relocate 2 hours away to move in with her only son and daughter-in-law but is facing financial difficulty making that happen being out of work with no income.
Please consider donating to help Laura with her medical costs and relocation so she can finally rest and focus on her path to recovery with a peace of mind.
Thank you.
