Angela Barfoot-Dondo
A BEAUTIFUL SOUL & A KIND HEART
On December 11th, 2019, Jérôme's loving wife and devoted mother of their ten wonderful children, aged one to 18 years of age, lost her long, painful and courageous battle with cancer. She was only 44 years of age.
Throughout her entire life, Angela was a bright light who brought warmth, joy, love, kindness, compassion and generosity to all of those who were blessed to know her as a special daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, loyal friend and member of our community.
Even throughout the many difficult trials of her illness, Angela remained upbeat, positive and strong, believing in and praying for the miracle that would save her life so that she could remain with the family she adored with all of her heart, but she was also a devoted and faithful child of God and He chose instead to call her home, where she now rests in His eternal peace and love.
HOW YOU CAN HELP HONOUR ANGELA
Angela was a rare and beautiful jewel who will forever be missed by all of those who knew her, especially her loving and devoted husband Jérôme and their ten young children; children they were raising to be kind, considerate, helpful and hard-working adults who practice God's teachings in their everyday lives.
Funds raised by this campaign of love and remembrance will be used in two very important ways:
1) Angela and Jérôme's children wish to honour the mother they adored through the purchase of a momento from "Eternity's Touch", a company who will digitally capture, transfer and create an exact replica of Angela's fingerprint. They will then permanently imprint her fingerprint on an item of each of the children's choosing, such as a silver pendant or locket.
This momento will be as unique and beautiful as Angela was and will leave each of her children with a small, irreplaceable piece of their Mom, whom they adored. Through this momento, their mother will always touch their lives and we hope that it will serve to console them during this extremely painful time and in the years ahead, as they grow up without their devoted and loving mother by their side.
2) The remaining funds raised will be used to establish a $5000 TRUST FUND for each of the children. The proceeds will be used for whatever needs they may have in the future, with an emphasis on their post-secondary education. An experienced accountant (CPA), Jérôme will invest these funds wisely so that they stretch as far as possible, for as long as possible.
