Help Rose Get Better
On Sunday, Rose went to the emergency vet for what we thought was stomach issues. After she was given medicine for pain (and just restless and difficulty getting comfortable), Rose was also give barium, a chalky medicine to see if something was going on in her belly. On Monday Rose went for her morning walk, but still wasn’t herself, by 0900 she wasn’t able to stand on her back legs or wag her tail. We were able to find a vet accepting new patients and after another x ray, it was verified no stomach issues. The veterinarian palpated her back and rose actually started to snap at her because of the pain. She was kept overnight where they gave her steroids and antibiotics in hopes that it was possibly inflammation or an infection. Unfortunately rose’s symptoms didn’t change.
She is now at the North Carolina State University where she requires an MRI and most likely surgery. The prognosis for this type of surgery is very good and rose is still very young and healthy.
Rose is Ashley’s baby! She won’t ask for help when I know she needs it! Thanks for all your love and support ❤️
