Help Bring Eduardo Home and Support Our Family

My name is Josmar, and with the heaviest heart, I am asking for your help.

Six months ago, my husband, Eduardo Vivas, made the difficult decision to leave our home in Venezuela and travel to the United States in hopes of giving our family a better future. He went to San Diego to work in construction and send money back to support me and our three young children. Every week, without fail, he helped us put food on the table and kept our children in school. He worked so hard and sacrificed so much because he loved us deeply.

On March 30th, Eduardo suffered a severe asthma attack in the middle of the night. By the time the ambulance arrived, he had already lost consciousness. He was rushed to the hospital, but due to the lack of oxygen to his brain, he never woke up. After a week in a coma with no brain activity, my husband passed away.

I am still in shock, trying to understand how to keep going without him—not just emotionally, but financially as well. He was our provider, our protector, and my partner in everything. Our children are devastated, and now, without his support, we are facing a very uncertain future.

I am humbly asking for your help to raise enough money to have Eduardo cremated and bring his ashes back home to Venezuela, so our children can say goodbye and we can lay him to rest with dignity. The costs are far beyond what I can afford, and I’m also trying to figure out how to provide for my children now that our only source of income is gone.
