Hello, My name is Jaycee McDaniels. Sept 29th, we discovered a potentially cancerous mass on my husband Bailey McDaniels kidney. We met with urology and scheduled a partial right nephrectomy for Oct 23rd. That surgery went well, however, he experienced massive postoperative bleeding and went into hypovolemic shock on Tuesday the 24th. They rushed him back into the OR and took the rest of the kidney. He nearly died from blood loss. He received 6 units of blood and 4 platelets. The mass was confirmed to be Cystic Clear Cell Renal Carcinoma. He has multiple appts coming up for urology, hematology/oncology. Plus more scans/testing. He’s going to be out of work for at least a month or more depending. We also have 4 almost 5 year old twins we need to support. I work, but only part time and I’ve been out for over a week already trying to help Bailey and be here with him. This will go to his medical bills, monthly bills and gas to get to his appts until he is able to get back to work. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
