Dante's Battle with Cancer

Story

Dante Walker, my little brother, has been suffering from an un-diagnosed illness for several months now. He has been struggling with fatigue, drastic appetite and weight loss, migraines, blurred vision, pain in his face, neck and jaw, loss of control of his facial muscles, etc. Many tests were performed and the results were inconclusive or even contradictory. On Mon. Sept 21st, Dante's condition became so unbearable to him that he asked to go to the hospital. Being a single young man and unemployed due his chronic illness, Dante was taken to the Emergency Room, because he has no insurance. The necessary specialists were unwilling to see him without it. After convincing the ER doctors to give him a CT scan, at last we got an answer. Sadly, the answer was the one no one wants to hear.My little brother has a tumor that starts in his neck and has gone into his head. A tumor nearly 5 inches long that is wrapping around his spine and threatening his optic nerve. A tumor so aggressive that it has eaten a nearly 3 inch hole in his skull. The doctors have conducted a biopsy on the tumor and very soon will give it a scientific name, but the early indicators are that he will definitely have to undergo weeks of radiation and chemotherapy.I am asking for your help. Help to ease the bills and the fear and the worry of Dante and our mother, who cares for him daily. She is a school teacher, volunteer firefighter, volunteer EMT and veteran. People who have little themselves, but who give a lot to others. He also has a younger brother in middle school, a father in Washington DC, and me, his sister in the Air Force currently stationed in Japan.Any and all help is greatly appreciated and humbly received.
