When Kaiser Hicks was 19 days old, we found out he was born with a hole in his heart. Also, where a normal heart has 2 valves, Kaiser only had 1.
In his short little life, he has already had 6 surgeries to mend his broken heart.
Kaiser and his family have a long road ahead of them. Besides the 6 heart operations he's already had, he will need at least a couple more as he grows to replace the artificial valve they put in. Kaiser is a real fighter. He is our hero.
This money will go toward Kaiser's extensive medical expenses. It will also help defray costs his mom and dad are incurring from gas, parking, lodging and food, as they are unable to leave his side.
