Sonja has spent her life giving. Not only has she been an amazing mom to her own children, but many neighborhood children have found sanctuary in her open home (including my own children). As a member of the board of the non-profit organization Lost and Found, she has spent countless hours over the years volunteering to provide people who have lost their community a new one full of love and acceptance. Sonja has also spearheaded raising funds for friends struggling in Gaza by helping Heba sell her touching poetry, "Beneath Gaza's Stars".

Sadly, Sonja has been thrown into an extremely unfair legal battle for her home and children. I am looking to raise funds as gifts to help Sonja with housing for her and her children, as she has been unjustly left with nowhere to go. These gifts for Sonja will also go to any legal fees needed. She has been a stay-at-home mom for the last 18 years, which many know and have witnessed can leave women at an extreme disadvantage when attempting to leave difficult relationships.
