Vinny’s Surgery

Hi guys, I thought I'd give everyone an update on how vinny is doing.

He is currently resting and happy to be home, however he has fractured his femur (large leg bone) and will have to undergo surgery to allow him to walk comfortably.

Due to financial struggles he was not previously insured. we never planned to take him on as we had rescued him and his sister from a bin in feltham. They had been dumped, covered in fleas, ticks and very malnourished. Being the type of people we are, we refused to leave them like this and I've never liked the idea of giving them to rescues as there are too many cats in rescues already. We were happy to take them into our own care, we just hadn't managed to get them insured just yet.

We will be starting a GoFundMe account and would be extremely grateful for any donations towards his recovery. Vinny means alot to me and my family, he has grown to be an extremely loving cat despite his rough upbringing. He's my little rock and I will do anything I can to nurse him back to his full potential. Anyone who loves animals as much as us would understand how difficult this situation is, and I can't be thankful enough for all the support. Any donations, no matter how small, would be extremely appreciated.

His surgery has been quoted at being £6500, which will be our target. Of course we are pulling together as much funds as we can to cover this ourselves but any help would be gratefully welcomed.

Please keep any negative or nasty comments to yourself, this is not an ideal situation and we never expected to be in this position, but we are now.

And to those that have supported on the previous posts we really can't thank any of you enough, the support has really overwhelmed us and restored some hope in humanity.
