This is Benny, he is a year and a half old and has had a rough start to his life. When he was brought to the pound at a few months old it appeared as though he had been stuck in a crate for most of his life. He could barely walk and looked like he wasn't going to make it. Luckily he was nursed back to health and is now a very happy and lively puppy. He is happy in his forever home and given lots of love. Unfortunately, Benny's medical issues are not behind him. He has had an on and off again limp over the last few months and it has gotten worse. After multiple vet trips, they've found that he has a torn ligament in his leg and needs surgery. The vet has informed me the surgery costs $6,000 and without the surgery his other leg will eventually give out as well. Insurance will not cover the surgery so I am asking for help from anywhere and anyone willing to give. Anything helps and Benny and I thank you endlessly.
