My name is Alex and I'm reaching out today to try and raise support to help my friends, Amanda and her daughter Marin. Recently, Amanda’s car suffered a major mechanical failure and it is deemed to be totaled and beyond repair being that the potential repair costs exceed the car's worth.

Thankfully, Amanda found a replacement vehicle from a family friend for $3,500 (which she still owes). However, it is needing new shocks and struts, and eventually a power steering pump. She is needing to get these repairs, especially the power steering pump being that it is essential that she have dependable transportation for her, and her 4 year old toddler in case any emergencies arise.

In addition, Amanda has an exciting opportunity to meet with her City Council on August 12, 2025 to present a plan to open her own business. If approved, the final vote will be held on August 21. During this transitional period, she will need help covering basic bills while she gets her business off the ground. Being that she lives in a 5th Wheel travel trailer and still owes approximately $19,000 on it.
