On 11/12/2021, I went under an emergency C-Section due to pre-eclampsia. Our son, Silas Andrew, was brought into this world at 26 weeks old, around 3 months before his due date. He is currently in the NICU at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. Hopefully, he will be released before his original due date of February 15th, 2022.

We are so grateful for the hard work and dedication of the NICU team here.

We have secured housing through the Ronald Mcdonald House right across the street and will be able to stay there until he is ready to go home. We live approximately 2.5 hours away from Morgantown in Vienna, West Virginia.

Because I had an emergency C-Section, we will not be having a baby shower for Silas. In lieu of this, I am setting up a Gofundme for all of Silas' needs for Daniel and I to take care of him. This will be used for any expenses related to his current or ongoing medical expenses, or for us needing to eat, travel back and forth from our home to get clothing, or anything related to his care.

We will be posting regular updates to this because we want everyone to see Silas grow and develop into the best little man he can be!

It is imperative, as well, that you understand any and all proceeds will go directly to him and his care and we will use no donations for our personal benefit.
