It is with great pain

Hi my name is Krystal Brouse and I am the daughter of Mike Brouse, which is Tammy’s boyfriend of seven years. The two of them have two cats together and adopted my dog for me when I couldn’t bring her with. They used to love to travel together, explore different places and foods, sing karaoke, challenge each other to word games and wheel of fortune watch old shows together and enjoy each other’s company. Tammy found out later than most in her life that she had a degenerative muscle disease called mytonic dystrophy it is a genetic disease that makes your bones weaker and weaker until falls are more frequent bones are breaking and bruised more easily and gastrointestinal issues are likely. As time went on it was assumed that Tammy‘s symptoms were related to the myotonic dystrophy however this past summer Tammy was bleeding an extraordinary amount and in pain which led her to go to the hospital. After doing some tests they told her that they seen two tumors and that they might be cancerous from there in a matter of months the news went from bad to worse. At first they were told it was stage 2 uterine cancer that could be completely taken out with a hysterectomy and small amounts of radiation. While in surgery real time updates were going to my dad in the waiting room saying everything was going as planned however that was totally false. The cancer was farther stage and had moved from that area to the appendix and the colon. They removed the appendix and part of the colon and gave her an illeostomy bag to replace the colons jobs temporarily. So it went from our false belief that she would be cured after this surgery to breaking the news to her when she woke up that it has spread its more aggressive and that they would changing the course of treatment to chemo after a few weeks of healing . Meanwhile with all the pain she had been having in her stomach she weighed only 130 pounds and couldn’t eat and had clearly been starving and weaker then ever, keeping in mind her disease that already effects her muscles. After more tests it was found out she has stage 4 cancer but we still kept hope for the chemo she had one micro dose of chemo and was too weak for the next dose, they now told her with or without chemo she has months to live. Tammys insurance will not cover her pain medication, Tammy is only 44 years old and weighs now only 112 lbs she lost a sister several years ago a brother that lost his battle with cancer last year and a sister that battled breast cancer and survived. She doesn’t have much energy, she can’t eat, can’t do very much but her spirit is still very much alive. The absolute worst case scenario has happened here and all within a matter of months and we really wanted to figure out what we could do for Tammy and make her feel complete and appreciated and loved and cared about and she said that she wanted to marry my dad. Another part of why they have never got married is keep their finances separate in order for Tammy to be able to keep her disability benefits . We would like to have a real wedding so that she has a chance to be a beautiful bride but we need help funding it. This is her lifetimes wish and we really want to make it happen for her. We also want to make some house accommodations for a walk-in shower so she can get in and out as she wishes my dad had paid a contractor to come install a walk in shower and after already having paid realized he was scammed out of the money leaving them without the money and without the shower necessary for her to be able to bathe independently . We also foresee other expenses in the future and want to make sure everything is taken care of for them. Please help me make Tammys wishes, these accommodations and being able to afford her medications a reality. If anything please keep us in your prayers.
